Welcome to Mindful and Free!
I’m a passionate photographer, victim and anti-bullying advocate, and lifelong learner on a journey to live with intention and authenticity. This site reflects my belief in the power of mindfulness, the beauty of nature, and the strength of the human spirit.
My path has been shaped by personal experiences with adversity, both in private relationships and professional environments. These moments, while painful, ignited a deep passion in me: to help others navigate life’s challenges, overcome emotional barriers, and find empowerment in their own stories.
I’m deeply committed to fostering healing and awareness by shining a light on issues that often go unnoticed—like adult social bullying and its correlation with domestic violence, human trafficking, and violent crime. This blog is more than just a reflection of my journey—it's a space for community, courage, and conversation.
Whether I’m behind the lens capturing moments of beauty or writing about the emotional resilience it takes to thrive in difficult spaces, I want this site to offer hope and encouragement. I believe in the freedom that comes from living mindfully and the strength that grows from living authentically—and I hope you'll find both here.
I started Mindful and Free to share my knowledge, lived experiences, and passion for helping others navigate life with clarity, purpose, and resilience. Over the years, I’ve grown through both personal challenges and professional pursuits—and I’ve come to believe deeply in the power of storytelling, reflection, and intentional living.

This blog is rooted in my belief that when we share what we’ve learned, we don’t just heal—we empower others. Whether through advocacy, photography, or writing, my goal is to help people feel seen, supported, and inspired to live life more fully.
I’ve personally experienced the harm that adult bullying, emotional manipulation, and social exclusion can cause. Through my work in criminal justice, trauma advocacy, and rehabilitation mentoring, I’ve also seen how those early emotional wounds often grow into larger issues—contributing to cycles of domestic violence, human trafficking, and even violent crime. Too often, these patterns go unrecognized until it's too late.
That’s why this blog exists—not only as a creative outlet, but as a space for awareness, education, and empowerment.
At its core, Mindful and Free is about fostering freedom, presence, and purpose. In a world that constantly pulls us in every direction, it’s easy to lose touch with who we are and what truly matters. But I believe that living with intention—even in small, daily choices—can transform how we experience life, and how we treat others.
Whether you're seeking healing, knowledge, community, or just a moment of peace, I hope you find something here that resonates. This is a space for truth, learning, and wholehearted living—and I’m so glad you’re here.
